About K9TRAINER4U

Hi, I’m Chris, the founder of K9TRAINER4U.

From a young age, my passion has always been working with dogs. I started with MG Goldens, training and competing in AKC events, where I learned the importance of teamwork, discipline, communication, and trust between handler and K9.

That passion eventually led me to serve as a Military Working Dog Handler, where I gained invaluable experience working alongside highly trained K9s in demanding environments. Over the years, I learned as much from my mistakes as I did from my successes. Those experiences shaped the way I work with dogs today.

After more than 30 years of experience working with K9s, my mission has grown beyond training. I want to use my experience to help dogs and their families build the skills, communication, and understanding they need to succeed together.

My goal is simple: keep dogs in their homes and out of shelters. I believe that with the right training, structure, communication, and support, many challenges can be worked through before a family feels they have no other option.

Whether we are working on obedience, behavior modification, service work, or Search & Rescue, my focus remains the same: build stronger bonds between people and their dogs and improve their lives together.

Every dog deserves a chance to succeed. Every family deserves the tools to make it work. After 30 years of working with K9s, I’m proud to put my experience toward keeping dogs where they belong—home.
